The agent of Manchester United back-up goalkeeper Altay Bayindir has insisted the keeper wants to remain at Old Trafford amid speculation linking him with a move away from the club.

Bayindir, 26, joined United from Fenerbahce in September 2023 and has made just four appearances for the club, featuring in only the Carabao Cup and the FA Cup.

His most recent appearance saw him commit two costly errors in United’s 4-3 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur in last month’s Carabao Cup quarter-final at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Manchester United have signed Altay Bayindir in 2023 to challenge Andre Onana, but he has made just four appearances for the club since joining.

“There are clubs interest in him at the moment. But Altay wants to stay and play for Manchester United.”
