Ilkay Gundogan believes the Germans still need to find a balance between Jamal Musiala and Florian Wirtz. Germany captain and midfielder Ilkay Gundogan has revealed. The Eagles must make sure they can strike a balance. Between young attacking duo Jamal Musiala and Florian Wirtz ahead of Euro 2024, Bild sports reported on Monday.

Germany are set to kick off Euro 2024 against Scotland on Friday. And there are areas where coach Julian Nagelsmann needs to improve. Namely the balancing act between Musiala and Wirtz, the teenage forwards from Bayern Munich and Leverkusen who have both played important roles for their clubs UFABET 

‘We have to make sure we have the balance. I understand that both boys (Musiala and Wirtz) have incredible ability and want to play every ball in the forward areas.’ 

‘Some things need to be trained to develop the automaticity. The boys play with different clubs. So it is important to work with them so that they make the right decisions in the matches. I believe we still have something to improve.’ Gundogan said.

Wirtz has raised the bar even higher this season. Recently crowned player of the year in Germany, the playmaker was instrumental in Leverkusen’s historic season.
