Amorim confirms ‘Rashford‘ is sick likely to miss the Red Devils game

Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim has confirm.

That problematic striker Marcus Rashford is unwell and could miss this week’s Red Devils clash with Liverpool.

Marcus Rashford returned to the bench for the defeat at Newcastle United on Monday. But did not feature after being ruled out of the last four games amid uncertainty over his future.

The 27-year-old has link with a move away from the club in the January transfer window,. Having recently rejected three offers from Saudi Arabian clubs worth up to £35m-a-year.

Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim has สมัคร ufabet said in an interview ahead of the Red Devils’ clash. That Rashford has not trained with the team ahead of Sunday’s trip to Anfield and is unlikely to be available for selection.

“At the moment he is sick, he is not training. I think he will not play this week, we will have to see,” Amorim said.

Amorim admits he didn’t prepare his team to lose to Liverpool this weekend. But will try to fight back and correct the mistakes from the last game to give United a chance to take home the win.

“We know it’s going to be a tough time. Both teams are in different contexts, they’ve had a solid foundation for many years. But we’ve worked hard this week to get the win. We’re going to try to do that,”  Amorim said.

“I just focus on the performance, not on the defeat or what will happen in the game. We may have lost some games, but we prepared for the game to win and knew what to expect.”
